Food and Clothing Bank
The Food and Clothing Bank is located at St. Paul's United Church of Christ Food and Clothing Bank at 1050 N. State Street. If you are in need of assistance, please call 539-5744, 539-5427 or 539-3306. The Pantry number is 539-5070 on Pantry day.
The Food and Clothing Bank offers three different types of help for needy families living in the Freeburg High School District (Freeburg, Smithton, Floraville, Paderborn, St. Libory and Fayetteville).
They provide clothing free of charge to needy families. Clothing is available at pantry or at the 4th Friday clothing sale (which is open to the public) from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. Call 539-5744, 539-5427, or 539-3306 if you have any questions or call Pantry at 539-5090 on Pantry Day. They collect donations of good used clothing, shoes, and linens clothing during the entire year. These items may be put into the clothing drop box located in front of the building at any time.
They provide emergency food orders (for emergency situations only) to needy families. Anyone in need should call one of the contact people at 539-5744, 539-3306 or 539-5427. There are no income guidelines for this help. The decision to help is based on the situation of the family at the time of the request.
They also provide a monthly Food Pantry on the first and second Tuesday of each month from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m., and the third Thursday from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at St. Paul's United Church of Christ Parish House, at 1050 N. State Street in Freeburg. We do use income guidelines for Pantry (see below).
We hope that you will call the numbers listed above to let one of the contact people know of any family in need.
