FREEBURG REGULAR BOARD MEETING

CALL TO ORDER: The Freeburg Regular Board Meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m., on Monday, 11/17/03, in the Freeburg Municipal Center by Mayor Allen Watters.

 

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: The Board members and those present recited the Pledge of Allegiance.

 

ROLL CALL: The following Board Members were Present Trustee Rita Baker -aye; Trustee Tom Gaby -here; Trustee Mary Krieg - here; Trustee Tony Miller - here; Trustee Paul Janssen - here; Trustee Tracy Coughlin - here; Mayor Allen Watters - here; The Mayor announced there is a quorum.

MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING: Motion made by Trustee Janssen and seconded by Trustee Coughlin approving the minutes on 11/03/03, with corrections.  Motion Carried. (6 ayes; 0 nay; 0 absent).

TREASURER REPORT:  Motion made by Trustee Janssen and seconded by Trustee Baker approving the Treasurers Report as presented. Motion Carried. (6 ayes; 0 nay; 0 absent).

Annexations:  Recker – Annexation was signed by owner.

S.A.V.E. Site – Annexation agreement has some details to be worked out, maybe amendment to zoning codes. Tabled

Scott Weber and Paul Anderson expressed their unfavorable views on TIF District.

 

Administrator Snider discussed the Gateway connector and how it will affect us.

Right-of-way Easement:  Motion made by Trustee Coughlin and seconded by Trustee Gaby to hire Mr. Bill Horn to provides a detailed task sheet for the Right-Of-Way Easement procurement at the hourly rate of $40.00.   Roll Call: Trustee Rita Baker - aye; Trustee Tom Gaby - aye; Trustee Mary Krieg - present; Trustee Tony Miller - aye; Trustee Paul Janssen - aye; Trustee Tracy Coughlin - aye; Motion Carried. Substations:  Mr. Dave Stevens of BHMG submitted a letter for review scheduling the substations additions and modifications that will require an additional two (2) circuits.
