CALL TO ORDER: The Freeburg Public Hearing was called to order at 7:00 p.m., on Monday, June 6, 2005, at the Freeburg Municipal Center by Acting Mayor Rita Baker.

 

Acting Mayor Baker called for any objections on the annexation between Kevin A. Edelen and Leann G Edelen, 8312 Jacks Run Road, Freeburg, IL, zoned as SR-1.

 

Second Call for called for any objections on the annexation between Kevin A. Edelen and Leann G Edelen, 8312 Jacks Run Road, Freeburg, IL.

 

Third Call for called for any objections on the annexation between Kevin A. Edelen and Leann G Edelen, 8312 Jacks Run Road, Freeburg, IL.

 

No objections, the Annexation was accepted.

CALL TO ORDER: The Freeburg Regular Board Meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m., on Monday, 06/20/05, in the Freeburg Municipal Center by Mayor Raymond Danford.

 

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: The Board members and those present recited the Pledge of Allegiance.

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION:  Kris Mack of Manors of Woods Edge presented a petition opposing the entrance to the commercial development from North Edison Street and the addition of a pumping station to be situated between the our subdivision and the new subdivision being planned behind the commercial development.  Discussion was held between the residence and the Board regarding these issues.  The Board assured the residents that nothing has been written in stone and will take the petition in consideration. REPORTS AND CORRESPONDENCES:  Motion made by Trustee Baker and seconded by Trustee Krieg approving the request from the Freeburg Homecoming Committee requesting the following streets to be shut down for the Parade on August 20, - 21, 2005.  East on Apple to Cherry Street, South on Cherry to Hill Street to the Freeburg Recreational Park.  Motion Carried.
