The P.P.E. (personal protection equipment): to be provided to Freeburg by IEMA and Homeland Security Grants Monies is still in the processing stage.
Winter Storm Events: If the County declares a disaster area during the Winter Storm Events, Freeburg ESDA is to obtain total numbers of overtime hours involved in the response to the Winter Storm event. Such as: removal of snow, The Village must keep good records of events.
The ITTF in cooperation with IEMA has advised all ESDA/EMA Coordinators that homeland Security funds are available for any overtime hours that may occur for security measures taken during an Orange Level Threat.
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION: Janet Baechle is against the TIF project, John Olack Change for special use permit and changing the lights to decorative lights along State Street.
John Olack withdrew his request for the variance for a special use permit zoning change.
Karla Thies inquired on the letter in the Freeburg Tribune regarding Freeburg could lose $1,333.00 in taxes. Administrator Jim Snider stated it was a wrong and right situation.

Dintelmann stated they went the less expensive way to fix the problem with the
leak in the water tower. The
estimated cost of to install the solenoid valves is $31,000.00.

and Lisa Smith are requesting they participate in the proposed West Street Sewer
main Extension.
Water
Loss: P. W. D. Assistant John Tolan discussed the water loss report.
By having the pool pay for its water use and the sale of water at the
power plant being accounted for, our water loss has been reduced to 4.8%.

K-9 Unit: Trustee Miller thanked the Freeburg Tribune for the nice article, which helped the Police Department raise $1,500.00. This will be used for Sarah (K-9 dog) for any medication, food or what she will need.
Street Lights: At the meeting Trustee Coughlin felt that when the highway project starts, the street lights will have to be taken down. This will leave the North End of the Village dark. The Committee felt extra patrol should be used during this time.
