CALL TO ORDER: The Freeburg Regular Board Meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m., on Monday, 10/04/04, in the Freeburg Municipal Center by Mayor Allen Watters.

 

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: The Board members and those present recited the Pledge of Allegiance.

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION: Tony Miller wrote a letter and read it regarding the Village Board has Freeburg in their best interest and we need to start acting in harmony.

 

Karla Theis letter was read regarding about the same thing.

 

Janet Baeschle, Sherry Heiligenstein, Lori Niebruegge, Mark Zipfel, Debbie Braun, Paul Anderson expressed the difficulties the school could face if we decided on the TIF.

Mr. Lee Sauzik felt the Village needs to hire a person to review plans for the Village.

 

Mr. Paul Anderson felt the Public Hearing for the TIF should be held at the High School.

Manor of Woods Edge:  A proposed solution to the direction of the drainage problem behind the subdivision was discussed.

 

Wolf Road:  Drainage problems by Jim Huffman’s home were discussed.

 

Leaf Collection:  A part time assistant to be hire will help personnel to work on other projects.

Held October 11, 2004 at 5:30 p.m.

 

Sgt. Position:  The Chief will post the Sgt. Position effective October 12, 2004, with a close of October 21, 2004.

 

Truancy and Curfew:  A proposed Truancy and Curfew ordinance will be drafted by Chief Woodruff.

 

Christmas Parade:  The Chamber of Commerce would like to hold a Christmas parade.  A letter will be submitted to the Mayor.
