2011 LEAF AND LIMB SCHEDULE
The Village of Freeburg will resume its leaf pickup service the week of October 17, 2011. The Village will be picking up leaves on a daily basis, therefore, you do not need to contact Village Hall to be placed on a list. Limbs will be picked up on a monthly basis. No limb debris left by a professional service will be picked up. Limbs must not be larger than 4" in diameter or 6' long and not weigh more than 40 pounds. Also, no debris piles larger than approximately 4' x 8' x 4' will be picked up. Please call Village Hall at 539-5545 to be placed on the limb pickup list.
The Village is now pleased to offer an alternative to the leaf/limb pickup service. If you do not wish to wait to have your leaves and/or limbs picked up, you may take them to the old sewer plant located on Kessler Road between the hours of 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. seven days a week. ABSOLUTELY NO TRASH BAGS, BUSHES, LANDSCAPE WASTE, GARBAGE OR DEBRIS IS ALLOWED. The Village of Freeburg reserves the right to prosecute any violators of this policy. If you have any questions, please contact Village Hall at 539-5545.

Village to Resident Notification System
The Village of Freeburg is pleased to announce the launch of the Connect-CTY service, our new village-to-resident notification system. With this service, Village officials can send personalized voice messages to residents and businesses within minutes with specific information about time-sensitive or common-interest issues such as emergencies and local community matters. The Connect-CTY service will be used to supplement our communication plans and augment public safety/first responder services.
Please accept our invitation to participate in this great service. We know that your personal information is important and rest assured that we will not share it with anyone. If you have NOT already received a test phone call from us, or you would like to provide additional contact information, click the Connect-CTY image to sign up. If you have any questions about the service, please contact Julie Polson at Village Hall at 539-5705.
The accuracy of contact information entered into the system is the user’s responsibility. Due to the possibility of system failure or other problems beyond the Village’s control, residents are advised not to rely on this system as the sole source of emergency notification.
